Book design for Vienna based photographer Julius Werner Chromecek. “Tanzräume in Wien” deals with spaces in which dance takes place in Vienna and shows recently danced in but now orphaned spaces. The curved lines take up the theme visually. In addition, the names of the dance studios as captions to the left of the photographs progress from top to bottom in the course of the book.

Fiona Oehler studied communication design with a focus on branding and editorial design as well as (artistic) photography and digital design. She is specialized in developing and realizing concept-driven customized visual appearances — always keeping individual solutions and approaches in focus. Her work is often about finding access to relevant socio-cultural topics and places and giving them expression.
